Mr. Ball is the founder, president, and CEO of Ball HealthCare Services in Mobile, Alabama. He earned degrees in sociology and health care administration from the University of North Texas and began his career in aging and long-term care with Wesley Woods Retirement and Emory University. After becoming a licensed nursing home administrator in Tuskegee in 1974, he founded Ball HealthCare Services, which has grown into one of Alabama’s largest post-acute care providers. Today, the company operates skilled nursing facilities, therapy programs, pharmacy and medical equipment services, affordable housing, and Alabama’s only skilled nursing ventilator units.
